Taco Salad

1 lb. ground beef (the leaner the better)

1 envelope Taco Seasoning Mix

1 salad in a bag

1 carton grape tomatoes (either whole or cut them in half)

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 can dark kidney beans or black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup crunched Tostitos

1 bottle Catalina dressing

Brown the ground beef and simmer with water and envelope Taco Seasoning Mix (follow the directions on the package).  Allow meat to cool and then mix all ingredients together.  Add dressing to taste.

Dump Cake

1 yellow cake mix

1 can crushed pineapple

1 can cherry pie filling

1 1/2 sticks butter

1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Spray pan with Pam.  Dump in fruit, spread cake mix on top, and cut butter into small pats and evenly distribute on top.  Sprinkle pecans evenly on top.  Bake at 350 for one hour.  Serve either alone or with vanilla ice cream.
